Greetings to the East Kingdom from Thyra Brigantia! The East Kingdom College of Heralds welcomes anyone who is interested in the various aspects of heraldry in the SCA. This includes historic research, helping with name and device submissions, reading scrolls in court, keeping our extensive records organized, and ‘being loud’ at tournaments. We have a large organization with many interesting ways to participate.
Elmet Herald is responsible for the education of heralds in the kingdom, and they have a website solely for that purpose: https://elmet.eastkingdom.org/
We are always seeking folks who are interested in learning the varied inner-workings of the EK College of Heralds, finding better ways to distribute tasks amongst the various deputies, and even giving some deputies a well-deserved break.
